Willow Mill and Little Barn
In the heart of beautiful St Kew near Port Issac, a comfortable converted mill (sleeps 8) and barn (sleeps 6) set within wonderful peaceful gardens with woodland and a stream. Nestled below the church of St James and a short walk from the renowned St Kew Inn. Ideally located close to Polzeath, Rock and Padstow.
The properties can be rented independently or together. Willow Mill and Little Barn share the same plot and are situated at either end of a 100m private drive, ideal accommodation for groups of friends and larger family groups. Willow Mill sits at the top of the drive and sleeps 8 people in four bedrooms (two super kings, one twin, one twin/superking zip and link). Little Barn, at the bottom drive, accommodates up to 6 in 3 bedrooms (one double , two singles in L shape bunks, and one double on a mezzanine). Great for all groups but being two separate buildings it is perfect for groups who may want independence or privacy such as those with young families or possibly grandparents looking for peace and quiet.
Location
The Garden
Willow Mill and Little Barn are surrounded by peaceful gardens with woodland and a stream. It is nestled below the village church of St James the Great, (used in the filming of a Rosamund Pilcher episode.) We are a short walk from the renowned St Kew Inn where you can sample Cornish ales and delicious food.
The Coast
The north coast of Cornwall is a wild and beautiful landscape to explore. The coastal footpath between Polzeath and Port Isaac provides stunning dramatic scenery. Close by there are great sandy beaches to explore at Lundy Bay, Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Trebarwith Strand - all good for rock pooling. There are plenty of water-based activities within 15 mins drive such as surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, coasteering, paddle boarding and sailing.
Port Isaac
Port Isaac, 5 minutes drive away is a quaint fishing village where you can buy fresh locally caught fish, crab and lobster. More recently Port Isaac has become associated with the TV series 'Doc Martin' in which Port Isaac was tranformed into the fictional Port Wenn.
